FOREIGN STUDENTS OBSERVERS' PANEL
We are inviting productive non - Filipino student leaders to compose the Foreign Student Observers Panel (FSOP) for the 2012 PHILIPPINE HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENT GOVERNMENT LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM (PHESGLTP) on May 5 -7 at Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center in the historic City of Butuan, Philippines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Female or Male
2. 18 to 30 years old
3. Non - Filipino citizenship
4. Currently enrolled in tertiary degree
5. No health problems
6. No pending or any criminal case at the country of residence
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Letter of Intent
2. Comprehensive Resume/Curriculum Vitae
3. Copy of the Country Passport (The page with pertinent information)
4. Waiver (To be issued by the organizers)
5. Signed Letter of Recognition (By the maternal parents. In absence of the maternal parents, the same letter by the foster parents or guardians)
6. Local/ national certification from a Police Department or its equivalent authorities.
7. Medical certification from a government certified physician.
* Requirements numbers 4, 6 & 7 are to be submitted if qualified.
TASKS:
1. Attend sessions/lectures on student governance;
2. Make and submit comprehensive observation on the asked subject matter;
3. Interact with the Filipino student government officers on fora and group sessions;
4. Attend Butuan City Historical Sites for Cultural Appreciation Activity.
NOTES:
1. The organizers shall shoulder the panelist' hotel boarding, foods, kits, certificates and local transportation (From Butuan City Airport to the various sites in Butuan City and vice versa).
2. The panelist shall secure his domestic flights (Any Philippine International Airport to Butuan City Airport) and international flights (Country of origin to the Philippines) and vice versa including all forms of insurance, fee and permit if applicable.
3. A formal letter of invitation shall be given to the qualified applicant.
4. This is a non - renumerated invitation.5. Arrangement of travel and others shall start upon confirmation from the organizers.
